Lynanne Foster, M.D., is a native Texan and fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist dedicated to helping patients return to active, pain-free lives.
At Platinum Orthopedics, Dr. Lynanne Foster provides advanced, patient-centered care for a wide range of orthopedic conditions, combining innovative techniques with a personalized approach. Dr. Foster brings extensive experience from her work in Level 1 trauma centers and her role as a former Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at The University of Texas Medical School. She also served as a team physician for Rice University, where she treated athletes and managed sports-related injuries at a high level. Known for her compassionate care and clinical excellence, Dr. Foster was recognized by her medical school faculty as the student who “best represents the traits of an ideal physician.” Her expertise includes minimally invasive procedures, such as endoscopic carpal tunnel release, as well as advanced joint replacements, including total knee replacement. At Platinum Orthopedics, Dr. Foster is committed to helping every patient restore mobility, reduce pain, and get back to doing what they love.

Kaku Barkoh, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and non-fusion techniques designed to help patients recover faster and return to active lives.
At Platinum Orthopedics, Dr. Barkoh provides advanced, patient-centered care for a wide range of spine conditions, emphasizing both conservative treatment options and cutting-edge surgical solutions when needed. Dr. Barkoh earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee, followed by advanced spine fellowship training at the University of Southern California. His specialized training includes minimally invasive cervical and lumbar procedures, spinal decompression, and motion-preserving technologies such as cervical disc replacement. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Barkoh is known for his thoughtful and patient-focused approach, taking the time to understand each patient’s goals and tailor treatment plans accordingly. He believes most spine conditions can be effectively treated without surgery, but when surgery is necessary, he utilizes the latest techniques to minimize pain and accelerate recovery. At Platinum Orthopedics, Dr. Barkoh is dedicated to helping patients relieve pain, restore mobility, and get back to doing what they love.
